History
Originally developed in 1982 by the U.S.D.A. from Brewer's Gold, with contributions from Early Green, East Kent Golding, and others, Nugget is used as a common bittering hop. Nugget has quickly become very popular due to its resistance to common hop diseases and its tolerance for being stored at room temperature.
