This article discusses a specific variety of hops. For general information about selecting, using or propogating hops, see the main hop page

Cluster may be the oldest variety of American hop and may be derived from wild North American hops. These days, hops sold as "Cluster" may be any one of several closely related, all but interchangeable bittering hop varieties, with a sharp aroma and flavor that can have a dark fruity, blackcurrant character.

Cluster varieties grown currently include Early Cluster, Late Cluster, and Yakima Cluster.
