Country wine or fruit wine is a traditional English term for a fermented beverage made from fruit other than grapes, or from other types of plant. Traditional English country wine ingredients include blackcurrant, cowslip, dandelion, elderberry, and gooseberry. Mead and cider are sometimes considered "country wine".
