The term Golden Ale is used to describe several very different beers:

  • An English Golden Ale is a type of light-colored bitter.
  • A Belgian Golden Ale is a strong, fruity, high-alcohol beer.
  • In the United States, Golden Ale is sometimes used as a synonym for an American Blonde Ale
