Should there be links in each style section to recipes? Or maybe just direct people to the HBT recipe database?

I think there should be. At the rate it's going, this page will end up being ridiculously massive and hard to navigate. I say chop it into bite sized pieces. -Torchiest

I think a link in each recipe to the Database would be good.- Orfy

Pumbaa, you've done amazing work, and I salute your efforts, but I would like to submit the idea that we need to somehow break this page down into smaller pieces. It's just so huge right now. I'm not sure exactly what the best way to divide it up would be, but I think it definitely should be divided up. The hops and malts pages face similar problems, although nowhere near as severe. --Torchiest 04:06, 11 February 2007 (CST)

Could we separate this into two Categories, Lager and Ales? That should shortness it up.--Sause 19:34, 27 February 2007 (CST)

Given the size maybe even a page per main section and then this page as the table of contents with maybe really brief description of the style? This would let us create a Beer Styles category as well. --Bradsul 19:52, 27 February 2007 (CST)

I was just thinking the same thing Bradsul. I'll start adding the Styles to Catagorys soon. --Sause 00:38, 30 March 2007 (CDT)

Every main section has it's own page now with a Category of "Beer Styles" put on it.--Sause 14:10, 30 March 2007 (CDT)

I've added some new content to the main page, and am thinking about ways to reorganize/standardize these pages a bit. I think it would be good to have an organization tree that wasn't exactly the same as the BJCP guideline structure, which (a) doesn't make all that much sense, frankly, and (b) doesn't cover all of the styles we might want there to be pages about (Sticke Alt, Kentucky Common, Light Mild, etc.). I'm thinking of setting up style pages with categories and subcategories ("German Beer Styles"), etc., with a separate section in each entry where the BJCP and/or GABF style definitions (or links to their own pages?) would go. I may play with a few of these and see how they work out. --Chapka 10:58, 21 August 2007 (CDT)
