In general, much Austrian beer is similar to that of its neighbor, [[:Category:German beer styles|Germany]].  However, Austria does boast one very important beer style of its own: the [[Vienna Lager]], one of the world's first true lagers, unfortunately now brewed primarily in Mexico rather than in Europe.
